Paint a Door 101

Dirt, grime and dog slobber aren’t a good base for paint I’ll save you the image of the grimy doors but let’s just say the previous owners left 🤢 doors. Clean the grime Sanded the door and removed loose paint Primed the door Ignored the door for 4 years Now painting the doors a nice orangey terracotta I want to paint the trim too only to realize the paint is all peeling Paint : SW Copper mountain or SW Thistle It’ll need at least 3 coats
