A lover of all things home, I’m a self taught serial DIYer, who is tackling large scale renovations and budget friendly updates on my 1990's traditional colonial house in Nashville, TN. My design aesthetic is a refreshed traditional design: I believe light fixtures are a form of artwork, I’m not afraid of color, and I love the comeback that wallpaper is making. My content focuses on a mix of DIY project tutorials, styling techniques, design processes, and sourcing decor I personally stand behind. My mission with each piece of content is to be inspirational, motivational, educational and most importantly, honest. I’m here to share the entire journey, including obstacles, failures and celebrations.

Exterior Home Makeover

My exterior home makeover! I'll be painting all trim and windows in SW Black Fox and the front door (and side door) will be in SW Tricorn Black. We'll add shiny brass kickplates to both doors for an extra pop. The back deck floor will also get a fresh coat of paint. I chose Mission Brown which I think will pull nicely from the red bricks and go well with the Black Fox surrounding it.
