This Afro-Bohemian living room mood board is part of my fashion-meets-interiors series, where I bring visual storytelling from the runway into home spaces. For this one, I wanted to celebrate rich earth tones, layered textures, and a mix of global influence and heritage design. The inspiration came from two powerful Naomi moments: the embellished gold look from the Valentino Ready-to-wear Spring/Summer 1993 collection, and her multicolor gown at the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 in December 2018, styled in pieces by South African designer Marianne Fassler and Azzi & Osta. Both looks reflect cultural depth, strength, and identity, which I translated into a space that feels soulful, collected, and full of warmth. From sculptural art and organic materials to bold prints and curated color, this living room is meant to feel expressive, grounded, and alive with meaning.
